Pimples on Back

One acne problem that is more common with men than with females is having pimples on back. It’s not unusual for men to get acne on the shoulders and upper back, especially in their teens. For some, this does not go away that easily, and even worse, the acne covers the entire back.

So how can we combat this? Here is a list of steps to take in order to help healing acne on the back:

  • I’ve mentioned this in other blog posts, but I feel that it’s relevant so I’ll mention it again. One step to take in order to get rid of back acne is to use a good soap or shampoo. Look for soap with glycerin/sorbitol in them. These soaps will not only clean the oil off your back, but at the same time not leave your back dry, which other soaps have a tendency to do. Also consider using dandruff shampoo on your back. Many people have said that they have had success with this.
  • After showering, don’t rub with the towel. It’s best to take some time to let your back dry by itself, or to gently let the towel rest on your back without any rubbing. This will obviously take a bit longer but it’s worth it.
  • Try avoiding sweating and tight clothing as much as you can. Bacteria love moist environments. To accomplish this, use clothing that are light, baggy and soft. Tight clothing will irritate the skin and your pores will clog. When shopping for clothing, look for clothing made out of natural fabrics. Nylon and lycra are known for causing more bacteria and acne.
  • Don’t wear backpacks. Instead of carrying a backpack to work, school, or wherever else you go with a backpack, use a briefcase. Backpacks will not only make you sweat more easily, but also rubs and irritates your skin causing more pimples on back.
  • Clean and change your blanket and bed sheet often. Your skin has oil on it which transfers to the blanket and bed sheet. Over time your bedding will have more and more oil on it, which in turn will be bad for your skin.
  • Exercising is not only good for your body and general health, but also your skin. Sweat cleans the pores. Don’t wear tight clothing when exercising, since this will make your pores clog when you are sweating. It’s best not to wear a shirt at all. After exercising you must immediately jump in to the shower. Don’t sit around with a wet back.
  • Like with all acne problems, it’s good to substitute whatever beverage you usually drink for water, to eat less spicy food and less fast food, and to avoid too much sugar.
  • This may seem obvious but make sure you use a good back acne cream or spray. You’ve probably noticed that most acne products are not designed for large areas like the back. However, here are some products I highly recommend for when treating back pimples: Glytone Back Acne Spray, Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Body Wash

In this post i listed some steps you can make if you are having trouble with pimples on back. Try implementing these tips if you haven’t already, and let me know how it goes. :)

Pimples on the Face

One of the most annoying places to get pimples is on the face, unfortunately it’s also the most common place. Pimples on the face are seen by everyone around you, and that’s not a good feeling. Let me give you some tips on how to prevent and heal pimples on the face.

The biggest reason why healing acne on the face can be difficult is because pimples are always being popped. Please do not do this. As a matter of fact, leave your hands of your face at all times. Your fingers have plenty of oil on them, and if this comes in contact with your face, your skin is in risk of getting even more zits.

It’s absolutely vital that you wash your face twice a day. Wash mildly with warm water, and do not scrub. Don’t wash any more than this though. Washing more than twice a day can leave your face dry, and your oil glands will only produce more oil than normally. After the washing is done, do not rub with a towel, but instead pat your face lightly. You want to be as gentle to your skin as possible.

Using a face cleanser or acne treatment cream is a good idea, preferably creams that contain some sort of acne medication like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. Check on the description that the face cleanser is oil free. Don’t use to much harsh acne medication though, because this will make your face dry and your pores will shrink. The result is oil getting blocked and more pimples on the face.

The makeup you wear is also important. It’s pretty common for girls to conceal their pimples, but if the makeup contains the wrong stuff, you will only get more pimples on the face. The most important thing is to use products that is not oil based, but powder based. You don’t want to add extra oil to your face.

One of the most critical factors for healing acne is using a clean pillow. Make sure that your pillow is often washed. The Pillow is in contact with your face for long times so it’s important that it’s oil free, which it wont be if you don’t clean your pillow often enough.

For help with your face acne, consider taking a trip to the spa and get a facial treatment. Make sure you go to a good spa, you want the employees to know their stuff. Here you will get a good treatment, and advice on how to keep your skin healthy. Facials can get kind of expensive though, and you need to go often for it to have any real benefit, at least once a month.

For getting rid of the pimples on the face, or for healing acne in general, also remember to drink plenty of water, don’t eat spicy or greasy food, and try not to stress out!

Neck Pimples

In this post I would like to talk about neck pimples. Acne on the neck is a common problem, especially among males, and the cause for neck pimples can be a variety of different issues.

First off, as with scalp pimples, the shampoo is very important. Using a bad shampoo can play a big part in why someone has pimples on their neck. As mentioned in the previous post, many people have had success healing acne with shampoos that contains zinc, so look for that.

Neck pimples are irritating and embarrassing, and what some people do is to wear high collar shirts to hide them. This is not a good idea since this will just irritate the skin even more and worsen the acne.

Neck pimples can be harder to get rid of than those on the face, because the skin is thicker here, produce more oil, and the pimples tends to get bigger. It is a good idea to use a skin cleansing product every day to help you get rid of the acne on your neck.

Unlike for acne on the scalp, benzoyl peroxide might be a good option for treating your neck pimples.

Keep also in mind that with neck pimples, or pimples anywhere else, it’s important to eat food that does not contain to much oil, and to drink plenty of water to detoxify your system.

I know for some people healing acne is extremely difficult, even if you cleanse everyday and eat and drink the right stuff. It’s important not to give up though, and as a last resort accutane is a very effective treatment for acne, although it can have some nasty side effects. If you are really frustrated about your acne, don’t sit around and do nothing, take action if you haven’t already.

Scalp Pimples

Acne can be very annoying, and scalp pimples are no different. For some people, these are especially difficult to get rid of. Struggling with acne on the head? Let me now give you some tips on treating scalp pimples.

Like with any kind of acne, scalp pimples is the result when to much oil is being produced. Therefore, it’s no surprise that if you have oily or greasy hair, you’re at a bigger risk of getting scalp pimples. If you don’t take proper care of your hair and scalp, you may have to pay the consequences.

So what is the solution? It can be very simple, and that is to use the right shampoos. This wont always be enough, but if you are using the wrong type of shampoo you should change it immediately. Look for shampoos specifically for oily hair and remember to shower every day. Typical dandruff shampoo is good, since this usually contains zinc which is known for healing acne. As a matter of fact, many people use dandruff shampoo on their entire body to help combat their pimple problem.

Another small thing you might want to keep in mind is that some hair styling products could be the reason for scalp acne. You may want to look into switching hair conditioners and hair styling products if you are not able to get rid of your scalp pimples.

You can also for the most part use the same acne treatment products for healing acne on your head that you would use elsewhere. Keep in mind though, that you must avoid using benzoyl peroxide, because this will not only bleach your hair, but also cause heavy dandruff.

If you are having a hard time with scalp pimples, there may be a chance you got something called folliculitis instead, which is a condition that feels similar to acne. If you suspect having folliculitis you should see a doctor, it’s usually not a huge issue to get it healed fast.

Getting rid of those itchy scalp pimples will not only have you stop scratching your head like a monkey, but also make you feel cleaner and better about yourself. I know this can be a difficult task, but if you commit yourself to getting your scalp pimple free, drink a lot of water, eat food with little amount of oils, and use the right hair products you’re on the right path to getting rid of your scalp pimples.

Pimples on the Chin

It’s no secret that acne can appear pretty much anywhere. Pimples on the chin is no exception. This is more common with females than with males, and often occurs when they are going through pregnancy, puberty or are in their menstrual cycle.

To treat pimples on the chin, the best thing you can do is to wash and cleanse your face often. There are some excellent products for exactly this by Oxy.

Pimples on the chin are just as bothersome as they are any other place, especially when the breakout gets bad and everybody can see it. Acne on your back for instance, can also be depressing, but at the very least it’s not always visible to everyone.

As previously mentioned, to help prevent chin pimples, drink lots of water, as you would with any other acne problem, and wash your face at least twice a day. Also remember not to pop those pimples to early as this will just worsen everything.

If you take care of yourself and properly cleanse your face, you will most likely see results. For those that have a harder time with this, stronger antibiotics may be needed, but beware of the side effects. Joint pain and dry lips are quite common side effects when using the stronger stuff out there.

If you are into sports, or for some reason wear a helmet, you should be careful of the band or metal touching your chin. This may irritate the skin, and can be a cause for acne. It’s a known fact that when having acne, don’t touch or rub it.

About Treating Acne

People struggle with many different issues. Girlfriend or boyfirend issues, job issues, dieting issues, and of course the issue of healing acne. Acne, like the other problems just mentioned, is something that will most likely affect anyone at one time or another. Healing acne however can prove very challenging.

Most people get acne in their teens, but for quite a few, this problem refuses to go away in the years to come. Acne is indeed a part of growing up and becoming an adult, but enough is enough, right?

It’s frustrating to realize that no matter what you try, those nasty pimples don’t leave your skin. For healing acne you must often do plenty of things correctly, just one change in your routine will probably not do the job if you have serious acne issues.

In future blog posts I will talk about specific acne problems, but let me tell you some solutions right now for healing acne that applies to pretty much any type of pimple problem.

Some ways that help getting rid of acne are:

  • Drinking lots of water. This is very important, as this forces your toxins to take the correct route instead of forcing itself through your skin.
  • Using the right shampoo.
  • Showering often, but not to often(once or twice a day).
  • Eating the right stuff(greasy food or fast food are very bad because this type of food contains lots of oil which is known for being a major cause for getting acne).
  • Exercising also helps since the sweat cleans the pores.

There is indeed a lot of stuff to think about, and I haven’t even mentioned all those cleansers and acne products out there that may or may not work.

Here’s a quick tip on good acne shampoos though. Look for shampoos that either contains zinc, or products that makes it clear that it’s for oily hair in their description. Zinc is good for treating acne and oily hair (more correctly the oily scalp, which in turn causes oily hair). To much oil will cause acne, so that’s why shampoo designed for people with greasy hair is important.

Also, a quick advice on acne products. Be very careful before you buy the next great thing to hit the market. Some of these products may be very effective, but they can also cause major side effects. As an example, a popular product for treating acne is called accutane. Many people have great results with this, but there have been more than a couple of folks that have reported they have lost hair and started to hurt in their joints. So please don’t use the super strong stuff when you first start on your mission for healing acne.

I will make more posts soon, after all this is a blog dedicated to healing acne! I hope this blog will be helpful to you. Talk to you soon! :)
